I’ve made this one tree nut free for those with nut allergies. Not only are bananas high in potassium and low in salt, bananas are officially recognized by the FDA as being able to lower blood pressure and protect against heart attack and stroke. Bananas also help with digestion, are high in antioxidants, are high in tryptophan (which helps with mood regulation and sleep), helps prevent kidney cancer and increase calcium absorption, and much, much more!
